My new "Grail" piece.....Bobby C's 1:1 TDK Joker

I saw a similar piece about a year ago in vegas selling for $20,000 US. This one is far superior and realistic

First, thanks for the compliment and secondly, who on earth was selling a 1:1 Joker for $20k in Vegas? Just curious.

That's so realistic I would have a hard time being in the room with it. AMAZING!!! Definitely worth the "grail" title.

that reall y is scary how really it looks .. i want it

can u wear it ?

Well, technically all the individual pieces of clothing could be taken off the mannequin and worn, but after all the effort I went through getting this sucker dressed and posed I don't think that will ever be happening. :lol

Thanks for all the nice comments. :cool

Bobby Causey is as good as they come. I remember seeing his work for the first time a few years ago and couldn't believe how great it was. He was truly my inspiration to start sculpting (not that I'm comparing of course).
I really like seeing the different views of yours, it looks even better to me now. Congrats on what I also believe to be the Holy Grail!

Thanks, man. You are absolutely right about Bobby....he is a truly amazing artist. I don't know if anyone has ever captured a likeness of any character as well as he's done with Ledger's Joker. I'm proud to have his work in my collection.

It's amazing how lifelike this piece is. Especially, the eyes make this really something special. This is so realistic it is disturbing. And I love it. You ever get tired of it, send it to me. ;)

Very realistic, but one thing I never understood is the desire for 1:1 scale "people." Props, I get (obviously). But the want for a full scale replica person escapes me. It just seems creepy having a realistic looking mannequin in your room. Especially if you have more than one, it's like you're collecting people. The desire for an object is one thing, but the desire to "have" a human... I don't get it.

Yes, clearly you "don't get it", but thanks for your wonderful comments anyway. Some people are just obnoxious beyond belief. :rolleyes
