My Mad Max complete MFP outfit (first film) - lots of pics

Thanks mate.

I started the gun by tracking down second hand accurate wooden parts from the few local gunshops, this is also where the trigger, gaurd and safety came from.
The stock then had to be cut followed by a mountain of sanding.
The first thing after that was to join the two wooden parts using a long bolt, had to guess how far apart to space them.

Covered the gap by measureing and cutting out a clear plastic document protector and hitting it with alum spray. The barrells are PVC tubing with
the dash light surrounds from an XC dashboard stuck on the trigger end of the barrels. Just used filler around all of that to finish it off. Glued a thin metal strip across the length of the barrels.
Just made some little greeblies for trimming and hit it with a light coat of rosewood stain.

Unfortunately i lost most of the pics including all the build pics in the last HDD crash but i found these.

Great work, thanks for posting. If you run across another one of those accurate stocks one day, I might be interested...

that's just amazing...although a lot of things aren't available anymore it still helped a lot looking at the right places for my mm police outfit.

still have a problem with finding the right holsters. i will attempt to build the shotgun holster myself(magnolia doesn't seem to make them anymore), if the softair shotgun will ever get to me across the border from england to germany. fingers crossed.

Perfect Tommy - You may want to try and send Magnolia Leatherworks an email. I haven't talked to them in a long time, but from what I remember they list things as out of stock when they don't currently have one on hand, but they will still make one for you if you request it. Good luck.

you are right. i looked the holster up again and it was back in stock, ordered it immediately. my softair shotgun arrived today from scotland...now i have to wait for the rest to arrive.

now the last thing that is missing is the shoulder holster.

...well and boots...but by now i have accepted that engineer boots will have to do. they are the closest thing i could find.

but thank you for the great pictures and all the help. i will be really poor at the end of this month, but also really happy. i am ready for the apocalypse;)
