I found a supply company that carried the exact same model, provided them with the art and ordered a sample run. When I got them I noticed that the clip should (I'm 99% sure) be gold instead of silver, so I ordered another run in gold. Once I get those and the DVDs (April 3rd, Yea.) and figure out which one is right I'll be giving some away to some cool folks who helped me out and auctioning a few on Ebay to make up for my costs. I'll put a post here if I do that.
Oh, and just to show what a stickler for detail I am, the quarter is from 1961 (the year of the "incident") and the clock is driving me crazy because I'm trying to get it to stay at 1:21 (the time of the "incident") but it still runs a little.
I'm attaching the graphic that I used for the pic. I took that file to my local camera store and printed it so it's an actual photo.
I loved the series and can't believe how little attention it gained.
I am hopefully going to launch into collecting some stuff soon. I got the pen and bus ticket from you and they were great. I got the key and fob and then kind of got distracted. When I try to get started I will head over to your forum as it is a great forum with great information:thumbsup
I don't think the lost room will ever get the love it truly deserves
so how hard is it going to be to get good screen caps of this key you speak of? If I can get some I plan on making a G-code file so I can cut one on my mill (or use it to make a stamp to stamp the sides of the unit on a key sized piece I cut out with the mill.)
