Got the glove snaps from the place on etsy in hong kong theyre perfect pretty stoked about making my V2 this week I hope to get the shapeways piece in.

Awesome! I'm looking at sculpting and moulding a new faceplate for my VM and then making up a new one. My current one is a very shoddy, thrown together at the last minute, job I made for my first cosplay before I knew anything about prop making lol. This thread as well as Risu's will be very helpful

Well the MK2 is DONE....not bad for 24hrs....made some improvements after seeing everything on the forum...I say done but there are things I didnt do YET...the blue LED deal in the middle I will add here in a few days if not tomorrow...other then that I love it fit is better function is better, its lighter.
I used a buckle from an old Fossil watch thats long dead which actually looks alot like the VM style so it worked out well....more pics tomorrow but here you go real quick.
My MK1 and MK2 on the wrist. enjoyed making this...pretty fun. Its not 100% accurate but for me and most anyone else besides a few people here, its better then most out there....and the Shapeways piece makes it that much better glad its out there for the public to have access to. Anyways onto the pics and more detailed pics tomorrow with a real camera.

I love that coat! Maybe the three of us could have dinner some time!!! I'm gonna try my hand at a Vortex Manipulator soon, what did you use for Innards? The leather is easy for me to get here at Michael's Crafts but the rest is getting me... It's also my first jump into props. Be easy on me!

Went and did it. Got the rubbertoe replicas vortex manipulator...If they indeed used the screen used molds for this. The shapeways piece is way off in size and my v1 is closer in size then I had thought originally. This is also taller then the shapeways part Too....lights work and all. Really sweet piece.
Also got my raf battle dress. And a cravat that is pretty close to the one used in empty child.

I wouldnt say WAY different by anymeans. Id call it similar if anything. I talked to rubbertoe about it, he said that the original disappeared. As we know props do... its probably 5% larger then the shapeways based piece. Still a cool piece none the less...and its not Fett so I dont mind that its not 100% accurate to Jacks.
