I've rushed the suit to get it wearable for Halloween which it will be - and yes it will be a display piece while I re-build most the suit again in Foam instead of Card/fiberglass/filler.

If i'm honest, I wish I made the suit out of Foam, and not the card/fiberglass/filler route. The suit is heaving, uncomfortable and it was very time consuming.

The hand and neck pieces are foam and I wish i did the whole suit like this.

Update: The suit is pretty much complete - I'm just working on the neck piece and the gaps between the thigh pieces and behind the knees/elbows.

The helmet faceplate lifts up using elastic strips inside the helmet. To close it i just push the faceplate down which i'm happy with.

Like i mentioned before, the legs aren't as smooth as i wanted so i'll be re-doing them after Halloween...

Not really, its the same pretty much everywhere but Halloween isn't about getting dressed as something scary anymore lol its about getting dressed as anything

Update: Suit finished

Just in time for Halloween. Its not as good as I was hoping so I'll make another Iron Man outfit after Halloween out of foam. But this will kick ass at the Halloween Party

The boots didn't like the puddles so i'm re-making the boots lol

Impressive first build! Lol motivation is key , I dunno how many times I procrastinated trying one of these iron man builds lol kudos to finishing! Good job !
