My Iron Man Mark IV Progress

So I've been attempting this costume for a few weeks. I've slowly been going along. This is my very first costume to ever try and I think I'm doing well. I have made some very stupid decisions with this just because I took information from the wrong people(Bondo on EVA Foam...). It's looking good to me and I'm hoping to get it done before Halloween, but if I can't, Iron Man 3 midnight release here I come!

You can see that I did put Bondo on it...I will be sanding most of it off once I get my hands on an electric sander and then I'll be priming it and painting it!

I will be posting my progress in this thread and any questions I have. I'm really excited for this suit!

Dude wayyyyyyyy too much bondo. Youll be sanding forever and you lost all your detail.

not sure why you put all that bondo on the foam helmet when it looked pretty good as it was. :confused

Guess this is a learning experience for ya.

Finally got my hand on an electric sander so I can make up for this huge mistake of putting bondo all over it...Helmet should be finished painting and priming by tonight. I will post pictures!!

Just a quick question...I have sanded down the bondo but since I didn't cover my whole helmet with it there are some spots without bondo on it. Am I ready to prime, plastidip, and paint it? Also, when I do will you be able to tell the spots that were without bondo? Thanks! Here are some pics to help!

Finished the helmet!!!! Well, most of it, I want to make a hinge system and I'm going to redo the eyes. But I love it! Now onto the rest of the suit...Big thanks to everyone out there to help me. HUGE thanks to Stealth from TheHeroTutorials and xRobots and StarksWarehouse. Here is the helmet!
