My interpretation of Mr Remy Lebeau (Gambit)

Haha thanks guys, jacket was handmade by a good friend of mine. We hunted down buckles, x-men badges etc and put it together after doing a duct tape pattern of my torso (that was an interesting afternoon :p). Got some cheap micro suede off of ebay and lined it with some simple black cotton for extra weight. you can't really see it but there's actually several extra panels in the back to give it the classic 'swoosh' effect when the wind catches... Shall I put up a photo of the coat in progress from the back?

Pretty average photoshoppery, but I couldn't help myself!

I didn't even attempt the eyes :p

That's for sure one of the harder costumes to pull off that he's worn. I love that you went with the classic look from the 90s. I haven't picked up a new x-book since 1997 so i'm not even sure what he looks like now lol. You did an amazing job.

Thanks guys, means a lot when you hear it from fellow enthusiasts! Next time I get photo's done I'll make sure I have his staff... Con wouldn't let me carry it around

Came out great!
Was it hard moving with that chest plate on?

Not at all, the chest moved really well, just a pain to get in and out of cars :p
the cowl was an issue though, I had batman syndrome and ended up with a sore neck... I'm thinking getting a smaller cowl might help though, this one is pretty loose!

Oh, and thanks btw :)

That's hands down the best cowl I've ever seen for Gambit. I really dig the boots too. Awesome job!

That's some very nice work there.
My fav. Marvel character is Gambit, and I must say that is the best costume I've ever seen. ( Including that mistake of a movie Wolverine Origins ).
