This golden ticket has been painstakingly reproduced from the actual golden ticket used in Charlie and The Chcolate Factory.I been working on this for a few days now and i'm happy with the results. Thanks to Glim999 and Vashdstampede for the wonka signature they did for me to complete the back ::bows to you both::

I hope everyone likes :cool

FWIW, I think you have some typo and punctuation mistakes in your ticket.

I have a nice collection of replicas myself, from the original and new film, including both golden tickets and a full set of bars from each movie. I got them off ebay almost a year ago IIRC.

I am keen to see what you come up with for the Scrumdidilyumptious bar. I have never seen any others replicas out there other than the one I have.

:thumbsup

I'm so glad you posted those because I saw one right away but didn't have an original to compare so I didn't want to say anything! On the back of yours you left off the "s" in "Greetings." -Haven't checked the rest for comparison. Otherwise, nice job.

Edit: Ok, I've looked through the rest more carefully now. Re-check the backs of your tickets and compare them carefully. There are some missing commas, some periods that should be commas, and one place where you forgot to add a space. I didn't notice any other missing letters.

"when it is time to leave" needs a comma (not a period).

You need a space between "10 A.M. Sharp." and "You"
(Edit: I'm not sure about this 2nd one. Try it with and without a space and see which looks closest. It's hard to tell if the original ticket left out this space too.)

My only other comment is that I think the last line on the front of the ticket ("This golden ticket...") should be the same font as the one you used on the back. It looks different on yours.

I think that's it for now :) Again, nice job.

Okay i matched up the fonts used to the spacing with the 10 am and it matched perfect must be how they created it.

as far as the last line i added a stroke to it wich was the problem so i took that out and looks much better. The font i'm using for that is the correct font used on the ticket.

Thanks for the help and the compliment

Looks much better. -Don't shoot me for this ;) but now that I know that was the difference, "Date" "Time" and "Place" might also look closer to the original if they were regular weight and not bold (you have them bold right?) Again, try it and see what you think.

Can you tell us which font(s) you used?

Ok i fixed it up and yeah i did have a bold on date, time ect.Don't feel bad if your crtisizing my work cause i just want it to be 100% accurate :thumbsup

as far as the fonts used for this they are called Rosewood Fill and Coliseum rr Bold

Hey, if you're worth the time to get criticism, you must be doing something right! I'm a fan of the classic Wonka, but this looks great. It appears that the original is hot stamped on gold card. If you wanted to do a real run, I could get you a price quote from my stamper.

Pitbull,

Sorry I didn't point out what I saw in detail in my first post, I didn't want to seem rude. Melissa nailed it though, those were the things I was talking about.

No problem, please don't feel rude on critiqueing my work like i said i just want the ticket to be perfect for all of you and the only way that's possible is for everyone to take part in this while giving me suggestions ect.Wonka props are popular props around the net and i'm getting fed up with replicas being sold innacurately.I love doing this stuff and i don't look to make any profit off it,it's just fun for me to share cool stuff.I can't even begin to tell you how many paper props i gathered up being here from many talented graphic designers out there,at least i can do is give back whatever i can :thumbsup
