Hi guys! After seeing all your amazing builds, I started to make my own WM suit.. I know most of the people like IM more, but WM has cooler weapons! LOL. anyways, I'm new here and I hope I can join your brotherhood hahaha. Here are some photos of my WM chest... Feel free to critic:)

Sweet 0406Lance! Looks like you are building the pepakura out of foam! Sharp, crisp and good details! It looks like you are going to do the unibeam as DIY? I haven't decided how I'm going to my WM unibeam yet. Can't wait to see how you'll render it. Are you going with the red LEDs or blue?

Yupyup! I got sick of the sanding in pep builds hehe. Too bad I had no X-acto or Logan 45 deg knife,I had to make do with a cheap cutter hehe, but I will get it soon, so I'll postpone my build a little. Actually, the metal disc in the pic was just a sample haha, I will make use of stealth's unibeam.. And about the color, I'm still thinking bout that.
I'm also excited on your builds.. keeps me inspired:)

Sooooo I finished the back and chest; Sorry I have not post any pictures, I will once I add a couple of things here and there and I will post how I'm planning to add the magnets to attached the two pieces together....

Anywhoo!!! Just In case you want to make it into foam, JFcustoms unfolded the files and made them into foam, they are edited to make it look HD and easy to build, note that there is some toying around to make the parts fit on the paper but you guys are smart....

well this is my first time using paperkura/armor building and...
Well i've been lurking here and i have a couple of questions since im in the presence of pro WM builders.

Is the helmet and the face plate supposed to fit snug because the first one i made felt too big (the chin was about 1.5/2 inches away from mine it felt like and alien mask xD now im on my second one and i just wanted to find out before i "complete" this one

oh and question 2 was. whats more suggested after completing paperkura? either fiberglass resin or rondo?

dont really want the helmet to feel...flimsy also thinking about adding lights,speakers,etc

below is my failure (measured ear to ear but now its averaged between HxWxD

You need some space to be able to add some padding and any electronic stuff mine has lots of space...

I'm frustrated with this damn chest/back issue of how to attach them together...so back to the drawing board....I'm taking a time of to clear my mind and get the juices flowing. Will stay around and see your builds and work on editing the files until I'm happy with them...

Well the problem is where exactly to cut them; if you cut then in an angle is really hard to put them together; then if you cut them towards the back where angles are straight then you have the problem with the weight; specially if you are mounting the gatlin gun I'll post the pictures in a minute and let you know my findings.....

My question is do we have to cut it across the shoulders?? Cant we just cut he sides out under the arms and drop the whole thing over our heads like a stiff T-shirt with no sides? Then use magnets or straps to re-attach the sides... even if less than perfect, probably not as visible as a top cut across the load bearing and very visible shoulders???? Let me know your thoughts? I am leaning towards that as I am using the football pads to support the chest and shounder bells... even run suspenders to the cod and upper legs off the pads..

Ding! ding! ding!!!! I was thinking bout that!!! but know I just have to figure out if the suit will stand the stress on the top...with all the bondo and fiber glass....oh well I'm printing another one as we speak...Would not give up!!!! I'm making that damn armor one way or another.....
