=================================UPDATE 06/20/2013====================================================

Back again on building mode! this time around I was not happy with the models I had (nothing against them they are nice) but I'm so damn picky I had to yet for the 3rd time commission my new friend the talented, easy to deal with and very friendly Jacob AKA JTM here in the RPF. At this time I will not be releasing the files, I will in the near future thou. I want to see how they come out and if they need any tweaking. The files were made using the hot toy pictures and a picture of the war machine I found doing a google search. Jacob is not selling them to anybody since I pay for them. Unless we come to an agreement then we can do something, but I think is better to release them later for everybody to use as long as they mention JTM as the modeler.

Anyway here are some pictures:

This picture I found in one of the postings here in the RPF, I don't remember were but if any of you is the source please let me know so I can give you credit or if I need to remove it.

====================================================================================================

I would like to add a big shout out to my new friend Mal A.K.A. Wonderswuid for the mini gun and side arms...top quality product.

Also Zabana for the sweet gloves, which you can use for IM or WM...

=========================================================So here I go, my very first project, since I lost my job and I have free time in between interviews and applying for jobs (which is a pain) I started to work on my suit, thank goodness I bough most of the stuff while still employed, I can work until the bondo stage, hopefully I will have a new job then.

the files I used care a team effort by the following people, thanks guys:
Carnage
Dubean33
Stagefivedrift
Halopepakura
Spektrum917
Ironmansuitmk6
Zabana

You can find the here:
http://www.therpf.com/f24/war-machine-high-def-pepakura-team-up-113492/

I have been playing around with the new pepakura designer 3 software and love the following options:

-join/disjoin:
Sometimes you can join some parts together, but be careful not to overlap them, that can save you a lot if cutting and make some of the parts easier to fold.
-flap editor:
Switching the flaps from one part to another makes them easier to glue or fold.

Another thing that I found was that using a .8mm pen (no ink in it) is the best tool to scoring the lines on the parts, you can still see that lines and don't have to use any color to differentiate the lines.

I will be posting the scale I am using for each part, I'm 5' 11" and 175 lbs, you can use that as reference.

Re: My HD War Machine suit (PIC-HEAVY)

So I'm using Epoxamite 100 with the 101 hardener, it came with a few pumps that are designed to pour the correct amount of part A and B, it came with 3 pumps, one for the epoxamite 100 and one for the 101 fast hardener. The third is if you are using the 102 or 103 hardener, so no need to with or mark any cups to be able to get the correct mix. So the correct mix every time.

Also I bought a bunch of cups, Popsicle sticks for sanding, fiber glass cloth, a heat gun, masks, goggles, primers etc...

Re: My HD War Machine suit (PIC-HEAVY)

Man, how do you guys work so fast?! Those pieces look great.

Thanks man!
hahahaha when you have all the time in the world (lost my job)you can build faster, also I used the join/disjoin option to put together some of the pieces, so less cutting and less gluing.....
