They are actually quite fun to make, and even a bit relaxing... depending on the wand...lol

How did you make this one? Was it lathe turned? If you have a lathe that can do that, I'm very jealous...

Actually it was turned on the lathe smooth and round... then I laid out the lines and carved the spirals by hand.

Gotcha! Takes more skill that way anyhow. What wood is it? Looks like bloodwood.

i did do a bellatrix wand (no photo yet) but i did have a wide enough piece of wood to get the arc just right. these look great though.
