Here's a few snaps of my Proton Pack, been working on a couple of months now. I just added the Legris Straights today. Just need the bumper, shock mount, and wiring, I think...lol
Thanks! Sometimes I had a few problems with the fiberglass chipping with some of the larger drill holes. Even if I moved up the size slowly, like where the Legris Straights went. Its been a good learning experience but I can't believe how much its cost! And I don't even have the thrower and most the parts are resin.
Looks great! Have you tried contacting exoray for the bumper and lights? his light kits are BY FAR the best. Any plans on adding sound? When I did my sound set up I added an auxiliary input so I can play my mp3 player on it.
Actually I haven't done anything much lately. Bills have stacked up so much that I have zero to spend on this thing. I wanted to get the wiring soon though. My end goal is to add lights and electronics though. I've heard they cost an arm and a leg.
Nice work, much nicer than the one I made as a kid out of a cardboard box painted black attached shoulder straps with a toy gun connected via a black curly phone cord. :lol Oh I think I also jammed an old retractable radio antenna in the top of it.
From what I've heard he's no longer offering them, but he sells the wire sets for people to make their own. The cables were very, very rigid and it actually split all over the place, but not in the part that shows so I was able to salvage it.
