My First Foam Armor: Mass Effect N7 [WIP]

Hey

I'm from Germany , 26 years old and would like to show you my very first Prop.

I already made something for Halloween - a Foam IRON MAN Helmet , but i rushed it so its not very good ^^

I was so inspired by most all of your works here , so i decided to start my own project.

I've never played the actually game - but i like the N7 Armour.

so here we go

Making some good progress - very happy with the result

got nearly all stuff together - got to prime them with Plastidip now and then move to paint it the next few days




The Backsection was really difficult :/

primed most of the upper parts today



and i've found a cheap Nerf gun - lets see if i can use it for the suit



i saw some tutorials on YT how to paint them to look more like a real futuristic gun , and of course, was inspired by the NERV GUN THREAD here at The RPF forum , there are some very talented users wich can turn a plasticgun into a real crazy looking gun

some good updates on the NERF gun - hope u like it , because for my first attempt - i think it is not that bad



...and with some weathering effect



i also started to spray paint the first coat on the main parts - the color is "graphite" - its a shiny greay , the other parts will be painted in black



what do you guys think ?

some updates on the suit


Frontside is nearly finished

still looking how to build the N7 LOGO , i'm gonna try it with some thick paper maybe

a lot of work - masking up those areas around the back :cheers



and the first coat of white on the arms




btw - i noticed that i need some more foam for the legs ^^ already ordered on ebay - i hope i'll get it this week to continue the suit

Fortunately, I still have time until the 16th of May to finish my project for the RPC ( Role Play Convention) here in Cologne , Germany.

and now 2 shots of me with the suit - just to test how it fits

hey

after a long time of absolutly nothing, i'm back and finish with the suit.

I'm really happy with the result, and its finished right before the RPC GERMANY starts at May 17tth @cologne

hopefully i get some good shoots of me in my suit
