My First Bladerunner Blaster

Hi guys, Let me introduce myself, Im Zany from Malaysia im 28 and also a motion graphics artist. Sorry for my bad English.

Today marks the day of my journey in building my Bladerunner Blaster. I'm currently modelling the parts in Blender. And when all the parts are correctly modeled, I'm gonna 3D print them and assemble.

I did found a lot of references online, but I would really love it if you guys could help me in building up more references. Currently, I'm modelling the blaster based on a blueprint i'd found online. I'm assuming that this is the blueprint of the Tomenosuke. Í hope this blueprint will make it easier for me to model the prop.

I'm a noobie here. If I made any mistakes, or you guys think that i'm going to make a mistake, do help me out and i will do my best to remedy it.

A very interesting project, best of luck, I suggest you spend as much time as you can on Propsummit because the members there know everything there is to know about the blaster and there's a mass of info for you freely available there.

Looking forward to seeing how you get on.

Are any of those pictures your work?

A few notes on the images above:
* The hammer does not hit the primer in the cartridge directly and the part that strikes is flat (I think...). There is a firing pin in the frame, but before the firing pin is a plate which slides up when the trigger is pulled back completely. The hammer hits the plate which hits the firing pin which hits the primer. The sliding plate is a safety feature so that the gun could not go off unless the trigger is pulled back. I would omit those parts completely — they would just add complexity and serve no purpose.
* There are several small variances between different real Charter Arms revolvers. Tomenosuke's blueprints that you may find are not always their latest revision, and they are a bit off in a few places.
For instance, in the revolver grip frame the small circular hole above the large circular hole should be only ~3 mm and straight above the larger hole. There are also two holes in the bottom of the revolver frame, one larger and one smaller.
* The extractor also differs between revolvers. The variation used in the real thing is the most complex-looking one with two small teeth (for lack of a better word) in-between the cylinders.
* The trigger guard is only a bar that has been bent but some replicas have a more complex part that fits more sturdily. The real one does not sit straight in all reference pictures.

For reference pictures of the real thing, look up threads by Kraamstar and Asavage respectively. Asavage has a video on his Youtube channel "Tested" where he handles the real one.
There is also a thread with some fine measurements of some parts, which you could use as reference when scaling images.
