Yes, here I am getting ready to go to a Star Trek convention in 1981 at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. My Mom made the shirt....and I still have it! I think this is the first time I have ever posted a costume picture in the Costume thread in my 5 years on the RPF! :thumbsup

My first Trek costume was two shirts I cut apart and sewed together to look like Dax. :lol Wasn't half bad for someone who couldn't sew very well. I have a picture somewhere...

dont want to hijack but i gotta speak up for my mom too.:rolleyes

she made this one for me from velour in 76 when i was 17 to wear to the Star Trek Atlanta Con.
i would model it for you but i dont want to see all the third season Shatner gut replies.:lol
