Working on a cosplay for the upcoming Halloween 45 con and decided to go as one of the sheriffs since it's a very underutilized cosplay. I've already got most of what I need - the shirt isn't that important as it's seen infrequently, so I ordered a standard CHP shirt. The pants and jacket are vintage, and what would've been used in the movie - a Horace Small Tuffy Jac and a pair of USMC 60s/70s khaki pants. The shoulder patches were probably purchased from a supplier but are no longer made, so I quickly created a custom design which is currently being made by a patch maker on Etsy. The badge on the other hand still is made - it's a Blackinton B242 style, and I'm doing my best to get my hands on one. Will hopefully have pictures of the complete uniform in action by next week!
