My First 3D Printed Prop-Your Suggestions

So for my birthday, the BF got me a 3D printer and while the first print is a while off, the possibilities are over whelming. Instead of printing some generic piece of deskclutter, I was thinking of printing a prop, something I'd actually want to keep and paint. What are y'alls suggestions? Extra points for pictures.

How detailed can it be?

I would assume .1 mm thickness. Try to avoid over hangs for the early stuff. Something with a flat back to get started.

How bout the key thingy from the new superman movie?



Breaks my over hang sugestion though, forgot about that.

The layer resolution is 100 microns and a printing area of 11.2 L x 6.0 W x 6.1 H in.

Will you be modeling the prop yourself or just looking for something to print for the first go?
