MY ESB TE HDPE Finished***pic heavy***

Hi guys,
I've had this sitting around for a while now and thought it about time I finished it. The first four are inside, then four outside with the bottom rubber trim added, then one with the frown and brow repainted with satin black opposed to the gloss I started with. Here are some pics. :love

Very nice, but I think you could trim the eyes out a little more for the ESB look. Although the pics are a little squashed on my screen.

Hi Joe, how's it goin'.
Yeah I know the eyes could do with a little more trimming but I forgot to do it before painting and due to the nature of HDPE I cannot do it now for the fear of the paint cracking and peeling away from the eye area. I had to paint and strip this thing down three or four times before I got a good finish on it due to kids putting their fingers all over it the first time when I left it out to dry outside the back of my flat! Then the second time it got blown off the pole by strong winds whilst wet! Then I tried to do a clear coat on it the third time round and the gloss hadn't quite gone off even after nearly a week of curing and all the surface crackled!
So you see another go and think I'd have to be sectioned!:lol

TE... lol guess I should have read the title of the thread.

nice paint and build up though. I love the ESB helmets... maybe my next trooper will be a ESB trooper... only I don't think Mr. No Stripes made it to ESB. I could be wrong though.
