Important Note :
I highly invite everyone to comment, positiv, negativ, whatever... I respect everyones efforts in stock building, solving problems or upgrading/modifying, but I kindly ask to keep YOUR pictures out of MY build-diary please. At least until I am finished. Thank you

That said, let start :cool:

Over the last couple of years, after building and finishing...

* Hachette´s Black Pearl
* DeAgostini´s Millennium Falcon
* Eaglemoss´s BTTF Delorean

I am starting yet another partwork build. Originaly this build is NOT officially available over here in Austria and doing a subscription to DeAgo UK and have them send over didn´t work this time, I was forced to keep looking for alternate sources. :rolleyes:
Over a FB-group, another UK builder, who due lack of time didn´t start the build but collected all 100 issues, made me an offer to an way awesome deal I couldn´t say no. :D

And after only 3 days after I hit the PayPal button, two boxes, about 20 kilo of parts and magazines arrived with DPD, and including the carrier costs, still only half the price DeAgo asks for the full set ;)(y)

I felt like a 10 years old boy at X-mas when digging through the pile :love::D

And I started the build the same evening with the first 10 issues.

So, progress after issue #1 - 10 looks like this

I have no plans to do any modifications, except adding a weathered finish later.

Dang! Amazingly good price. I'm envious - I paid for a full subscription. :)

Aw! There are so many missed opportunities there to make it look more accurate!

Thats right, but at least for now, I won´t touch anything. Maybe sometime later, as its not that difficult to disassemble everything again ;)

Did another 10-issue step :)

Congrats Scooby on starting another build - I’ve subbed onto!
Seems like you’ve been bitten by the ‘parts build bug ! ‘:p...., will you ever return to just building an out of a box kit again !?:D;)

Well, as long as BANDAI throws out a new Star Wars kit now and then, everythings fine. Although, DeAgos X-Wing, Hachettes T-800 and Eaglemoss Ecto-1 look all nice, there are no plans to contuine partworking after R2.

Besides, I am running out of display space... again and again .... and there is still the Mrs.

Hmmm..., display places can always be found my friend - A Happy Mrs ?..., that’s another proposition altogether :oops::D;)

Just something I’ve been working on.

Oddly there seems to be virtually no interest in De Ago R2 accurizing parts. The amount of stuff that was made for the Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean is crazy!

You are right about the Delorean Mods. I actually spent hundrets of extra bucks for this. And I really don´t want to do the same here again. :oops:

Anyway, here are the next 10 issues done, #21 - 30 :)

Connecting to the test-panel, both displays, the "eye"-LEDs and the projector are working as they should

nkg : Don´t get me wrong, I like your mods you are doing with R2, but I ask you kindly to keep YOUR photos out of MY build diary, please ;):)

And because the weather outside is just "right" today, I just finished another 10 issue bundle, so here we have #41 - 50

Looks like the clouds wont rip apart outside, might do another 10....maybe :cool::lol:

Sure thing, if you prefer that! The RPF's goofy forum software doesn't seem to let me delete existing posts, though.

I had a miss wire on the right leg IR sensor and only found it after it was assembled and being tested in issue #53, rather than disassemble the foot
I corrected it at the exposed end.

I guess, you guessed it, another 10 finished :cool::D:D
:unsure: Thinking of it, THIS will be the way to do any future partwork projects ( *cough* Hachette´s T-800 *cough* Eaglemoss´ Ecto-1 *cough* )
Buy everything at once and having a heck of a building marathon the next couple of days :p:cool:(y)
