My Custom Mando Armor... "ONE END"

Thank you everyone for your encouraging words!

Test fit #4....

Still have some kinks to work out,"like making sure it holds together for an entire day of walking around..." & a girth belt, but I'm done!

I've seen some pretty sad "custom" mandos around...THIS IS NOT one of them. You sir have set the bar:) Outstanding work, and by F A R, the best custom mando that I have seen.

(That picture with your son, says it all....very well done):thumbsup

This is a truly inspired piece of work! I love the colour of the armour and love the accessories....the only thing i don't like is the colour of the jumpsuit......not sure why, but it doesn't compliment the rest of your stunning costume. I personally think black or white would look amazing!
Anyhoo....

...Top work, Mando Bloke!

Rich

That is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it and I love what you did with your paint and the red buttons/circles on the pouches is a nice touch. Tasteful mate.

Great custom - the comment before about the jump suit may be right but possibly just weather it - dirty it up and make it look warn or slept in - that would give authenticity t the suit! Great job.

WOW! Thank you for the strong positive feedback! I thank you for your positive criticism, it helps me work out kinks and make My suit & be able to help make everyone around suits better.

I'm glad you guys like My suit so much, It really means a lot to me.

I am new to the RPF, as well. I am a budding Mandalorian, myself, and I have to say that this is impressive. Good job, man.

Trash cans are a great way to start out for the Mando armor, if you are just a beginner. I, myself, didn't make my own. I bought a kit that is made out of Sintra - which is another material that I would suggest using if you are a beginner.

Sintra is also known as expandable PVC. I can come in various thicknesses and colors. The nice thing about it is that, due to its molecular properties, if you mess up forming the plastic, you can just heat it back up to reshape it again. Other plastics aren't as forgiving.

I've heard that the downside to Sintra is that it can warp in the day heat - this is, again, due to its unique molecular properties. However, I just did an event a week, or so, ago in 100+ degree weather but I didn't have any issues with my armor pieces having any warping issues.

So, there you go....
