my BATGIRL photoshoot.. pic heavy

It's a BatGirl cowl that I had to cut in order to fit me properly.. and YES.. it was 47 degrees outside when we did the shoot :p

The Batarang is made out of plastic and it's VERY light.

And NO.. I can not run in those shoes :p

Thanks everyone.. I had a blast.

Stunning costume and photos. I liked this costume when it was shown in your interview a while back. The details are spectacular, just like something out of Alex Ross artwork. Just curious, do you every dye your hair red or wear a wig? You'd make a great movie Batgirl, too. You should get a friend to dress up in the Supergirl costume(especially the one with the red hotpants and long-sleeved blue top). Now that would make a great photo shoot.

What was the material you used in the costume? I can't quite place the look. Part of me wants to say latex, part of me wants to say spandex. Heck, I even want to say leather at some point.

(Oh -- do you have the cool motorcycle, too?) ;)

the costume looks great this is one of the best batgirl costumes i've seen! But something about the mask is off i cant put my finger on it though

Very nice costume! Well done!
That batarang looks kinda scary (and unweildy) to me...

Watch your ankles in those boots!

Protecting the Orlando Convention Center from harm.

Saw the thread awhile ago where you were working on it, great to see the final result!

Going to be wearing it to MegaCon?

Well, I've told you before how great you look in the costume.
However...
I know it's just my being nitpicky, but why do (many) women choose to wear stacked heels when wearing a costume? Obviously no self respecting crime fighter would ever wear something like this for jumping, climbing and fighting. Granted, they look sexy, but to me it just throws the whole look off. When my girl does Batgirl, it's a constant struggle to get her to wear flat boots while her wanting to wear platforms. Depending on the mood, sometimes I win! :lol
Regardless, you still look fantastic for the character. :thumbsup
