My Arkham CITY Harley Quinn

So, I've decided that I want to do the Arkham City Harley Quinn that was unveiled in the trailer. I've got the material to do the pants, it looks like the corset and boots are the same from Asylum, which means it shouldn't be that hard to find. I may even do the boots myself, if I find the time, materials, and *cough*a clue on where to start with them*cough* ... So, yea. Thoughts?

its leagues better than the first games design.. though i really dislike the Makeup instead of mask choice..
i'd say, go for a slightly better twist and take this whole design, add a simple harley eye mask to it.

regardless of if you do that or not, best of luck to you! i'm a big fan of the games, and i had alot of satisfaction managing to put together my scarecrow costume on this site, from the first game

If my scanner was working, I'd upload pics of the pants. I'm going to get to work on the shirt as soon as I get the right dealies.

I've pretty much got half the costume right now from work on previous Harley costumes, but I still need the corset and boots. May not happen for a while, considering how few people I can find that'll make just the corset/boots from the first game. Might find someone to do the corset, might attempt to make the boots myself. I can't post in the Junkyard yet, so I'll try there as soon as I can.

that would be an extremely easy costume to do, and would look pretty awesome.

for boots get something like this to start with
Red Buckle Thigh High Boots and wide range of Unique Thigh High Boots at ElectriqueBoutique.com

get one pair in red one in black...or just a red pair and get some leather/vinyl paint which may be cheaper, but the paint will rub off.
so long term two pairs works better.

if you wanted to make the knee pad and front foot peices to make them more accurate as well, you can get small peices of scrap leather at tandy stores, or if the boots you get are vinyl you could get some material to match color pretty easy, or at least close enough.

.

Golden acrylics either the fluid or thinned regular stock will no flake or rub off. None toxic, easy to find and many more uses. ;)

Always nice to see someone putting the effort into a QUALITY Harley costume. There are always plenty of them running around cons, and the variations provided by the Arkham games add some welcome variety. Someday, I hope to be in good enough shape to go as the comic version. It would also be fun to see someone brave do this:

Look no further! One of the best and most dedicated Harley cosplayers out there did that costume and many more.

Look at her deviantart. She's got Classic, Hollywood Harley, Harley's Holiday, the nightgown, and plenty more!

Doh, I was just about to post that link. lols.

I personally dont like the design used for Harley in either of the Arkham games, but none the less, if you pull off the look accurately to the design you want, then my hats off to you.

OKAY, so I took my Harley pants for a test run today for Costume Saturday at work, and I realized something crucial.

The colors are reversed.

Easy fix, though. Just sew the other halves together.

Just thought I'd update.

Where did you get the pants that you cut? I have a friend who wants to attempt this costume, and I'm trying to help her out, since she's never really done the whole "making a costume" thing.

The problem for me in helping her? I don't shop for women's clothes (Usually :p) so I have no clue what type of material or cut I'm looking for in that stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't wait to see your progress.

What I did was searched eBay for spandex leggings, found red and black "metallic" or "wet look" leggings, ordered them, cut them apart, and sewed them together.

Here's probably your best bet for the Arkham City look:

I wish I was the Joker so I could have a girl like Harley....I am in love. :cool
