I picked up the Airsoft Pulse Rifle kit from a fellow member here in a trade. It is a great kit! It has injection molded plastic parts that lock up nice and tight! I love how tight and solid it mounts up. Being molded in the correct color is awesome too, so no painting required.
The counter is sweet. When the clip is removed, it lights up as 00. When the clip is installed, it lights up as 95. The coolest feature is that it counts down as you shoot, per BB. That is awesome! I also really like the pump/shotgun feature. It has an aluminum sleeve in it that closes, hiding the grenade. Then you rack it back and it exposes the grenade. Now it didn't come with a grenade, it came with a plastic shotgun shell. I replaced that with an SD Studios grenade.
The stock has a working pin that allows you to move the stock and lock it in multiple positions, which is pretty cool. The shroud is plastic, and the plates are metal that hold it together.
I bought a Cybergun Thompson from Kapowee. It is mostly metal and very heavy! I bought it for $50, as a parts gun. It works, but was missing the charging handle. I called Kapowee, and they are sending me a new one, which is very nice!
The negatives: there are several inaccuracies but looks good! I do not like the stock on it, even though it has a couple of positions that lock it in place. The fact that it isn't 1 piece is disappointing. I don't like that you have to screw on a plastic buttpad on the stock. I wish someone offered a replacement. If anyone has a source for a replacement stock that will work in the airsoft, please let me know!!
