My 5 y/o's Indy costume is COMPLETE!

Re: Officially started my 5 y/o's Indy costume tonight

You need a center buckle for the bag strap. Send me your addy, I will shoot one out to you. I have a spare.

Re: Officially started my 5 y/o's Indy costume tonight

Is it pint sized though?

Ya know, Jose - I actually used pix of you in your Indy for a lot of the costume "research" - since I knew NOTHING about it when I started.

Re: My 5 y/o's Indy costume is now 99% done.

surely someone knows! The USWings hat looks nicer in the pics - but the description on Indianajones.com is very similar!

Come on guys!

I bought mine from USWINGS - it's an officially licensed hat. It appears they both have the Indy badge on the side. The USW one has trim around the brim. I can't tell if the IJ.com one does or not. It's probably the same hat though.

Re: Officially started my 5 y/o's Indy costume tonight

Got a jacket off eBay for $26 :D Not exact - but it fits him like a glove and looks close enough.... weathering will come soon...

All that's left are the whip and the mini-gun (which I can't find anywhere!!!)

You Have GOT to show this off over at COW! They will flip their collective lids (and those are some serious lids) over this.

Re the kid's fedora on USWings.com - and the one on IndianaJones.com - are they the same hat? Both are listed at around 35 bucks. Here is the one on IndianaJones.com:

And the USWings one:

The licensed Indiana Jones hats are made by Dorfman Pacific, but there are roughly nine different styles; each of the links you posted is showing a different style, that's all.

The style shown on the U.S. Wings site is also available through the Indiana Jones Shop here:

http://shop.indianajones.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=1219258;category_id=408152;pcid1=;pcid2=

BTW, I agree the style shown on the U.S. Wings website is the better of the two.

Oh, that's right ! I forgot its probably a thinner strap. I have the appropriate size, which is an inch.

I've got a mini buckle you can have. I think it's for a 3/4" Strap, roller buckle type. (LC/CS).

Wow, that looks great! Congrats on the costume, that's one happy kiddeo!

That was super nice of bullwhipcracker to make the whip too. Well done man, well done!

Wow! Awesome whip...awesome costume...awesome Dad to make such an awesome set of gear for his awesome kid.

Thats a whole lot of awesome.

Yeah when I saw the work and love that was going into that costume I knew I HAD to do my part to help finish it off. Got me with the shoes and the bag. :)
Make sure there is some adult supervision with that whip at all times though!
As hard as I tried to pull a Dr. A. Heller and make a non-lethal whip it still has a little sting in it.
I am so glad he likes it.
