Just wanted to share my HIC I made for about 200 bucks....bought the body cast for $130....wood (mdf ) for 40 bucks...and the rest on glue (to make carbonite puddles) and paint....I mixed up a dark gun metal grey for frame ( it gives han and side panels a nice contrast )....used appliance spray paint for han ( carefull some spray cans have sparkly flakes in paint) and nickle for panels (which arent accurate but its the best I could do )
ohh....I still have to age/distress han

thanks to all the great threads out there for inspiration/measurements/ photos.

ebay sells them alot...sometimes guys do runs here or maybe dented helmet... I got this one off a member (who I think got it off an old run )

That turned out fantastic & it proves that you can really save a lot of money by doing most of the work yourself.

Nice work & congrats! :thumbsup

I love threads like this! Props that look spot on and done on a budget! It's interesting to see how creative many of us get to find the desired results of high end peices we love.
Kudos, bro. I love it! :thumbsup

It just goes to show you don't have to spend 1,000.00 to have a great looking lifesize piece in your collection.
