Mutt head from The Hunger Games?

I bought a few props (mainly Underworld) from a collector in the U.S. and also bought this Mutt Head. He said it was used in the production of the first Hunger Games movie. As with the Underworld props, there was no COA but it is made of silicon, has punched hair and has nice quality glass eyes so is very well produced. My question is does anybody have any ideas how I could identify if and when it was used? Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
