Mumm-Ra: THE EVAH-LIVING!

I find myself in a bit of a financial jam, and surrounded with scraps, so to remedy both, I'm hoping to make and sell some things, and first up is a custom figure of Mumm-Ra, of Thundercats fame.

Sculpted in Sculpey and Apoxie Sculpt over a aluminum and copper wire armature, over a period of, what, two days? Painted in acrylics and wrapped in heavy cloth bandages and fleece, I wanted him to tell a story of his own. It's dirty and aged and gross looking like, what I think, a real mummy.

It's practically done now, except the base he's on, and with the utmost humility, I have to say this is easily one of the best things I've sculpted. He's fully detailed and painted with completely removable bandages and cloak (aged with real dirt!).

All accomplished on such little time, too. I'm proud of myself as much as I am of the figure. If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go and pat myself on the back some more.

Man impressive, you should cast them and sell them or make a high price tag for this unique figure I bet thundercats.ws forum is going to pay good bucks for this exceptional piece of art.

I considered casting but, again, I didn't know the interest so this was just a one off. I was never big into Thundercats (my eldest brother loved it) but Mumm-Ra was such a wonderfully designed and interesting villain, I can't help but have a soft spot for him.

Currently, I do have it up in the junkyard but the sale is pending unless I get a better offer. The Thundercats.ws forum sounds like a good idea but to make an account for just this one sale seems kinda...shameless? I wouldn't mind if there was another person on there who had an account here that wanted to pimp it out but to make an account there, and never use it but this one time, I dunno; things like that never sit with me well.
