MR SW Rating thread

I am curious. With MR losing the SW license --and a lot of their SW items getting mixed reviews over the last few years from "great" (Some EE Lightsabers, Millenium Falcon Studio Scale, thermal detonator) to "not so great" (Clone helmets, some FX sabers) what is the RPF member consensus on the best :thumbsupto the worst :thumbsdownMR items over the years. I was thinking SW-but I suppose we can rate any of their stuff.

Great:

Weathered Thermal Detonator
Solo EE Blaster

Not so great:

Rebel Fleet trooper blaster
ROTJ FX Saber

Was there an EE Luke ESB? THe EE ROTJ kicks butt. I'd put the At-At V1 in the great. NOt so great, I'd say the snowspeeder because it's not to scale. (That's a minor nitpick)

I may be wrong on that it may have been a Luke ANH EE

Agreed on the AT-AT and Snowspeeder ratings.

The Obi ANH may have been 'great' as an example of mass-produced antiquing and manufacturing excellence (the pommel is beautifully made), but just based on what was known at the time it was remarkably, even seemingly purposefully inaccurate. That puts it on my 'not so great' list.

Well, to be fair, I could only rate the pieces that I own. Based on that, I'd put my MR pieces in the following order:
Han ANH EE Blaster
Han ESB Blaster
Jedi Training Remote
Thermal Detonator (weathered)
Rebel Trooper Blaster
Leia's DDC Defender

I used to have the Obi ANH weathered saber, and the Vader ANH saber, but had to sell them.

I only have a few MR items at the moment and I like everyone of them. It's sad to see them lose their license. I guess I'd rate the pieces I own like this:

ANH Obi-Wan Weathered LE
ESB Luke LE
ESB Vader LE
ANH Luke LE
ANH Vader LE
ROTJ Luke Blueprint
ROTJ Luke fx saber

I'm looking forward to the ROTJ Luke V2 once that comes out. I'm also looking for a few other items at the moment so this may change of course:cool

 

[AT-AT Luvah]

Based on what I own, from best to 'least best' and their respective rating:

AT-AT v1 - Masterpiece Level
Count Dooku AOTC - Beautiful in every respect / a sight to behold in person
Luke ROTJ - my favorite saber of all time and done wonderful justice by MR
Vader ESB - beautiful work
Darth Maul - nicely done, just not as outstanding as the others, but still as a replica, it's very nice

I wouldn't even know where to begin. :$

I'd add Sidious's lightsaber...It is a beautiful design and has a cool "chrome" effect.

I think the Dooku saber is one of their masterpeices.
Others:
Ani/OB ROTS sabers
Windu
OB TPM EE (in spite of some QC issues. It's just lovely).
QGJ LE
BD Maul

Not so great:
Yoda ROTS (looks fakey)
Boba blaster (paint job)

On the fence:
Luke V2 (we'll see.)
Anakin AOTC (looks great but so ridiculously heavy!)
