MR Muppets

Hey all,

i'm from the UK but want both Kermit and Animal, am I best ordering these direct from MR or through Forbidden Planet etc. I have never bought from MR before and was wondering what there customer service is like

Is'nt there an Mr dealer in the U.K.?

I'm probably not going to be of much help. There are so many distributors for MR products it's a hard subject to discuss. Some are great, some are substandard. Many offer what appears to be a better price than MR, but then make up the cost in shipping charges! I don't personally know of any distributors in the UK, but I figure there must be.

One warning: some of the dealers actually don't stock the product - they order it from MR only when THEY get an order! So the shipping is delayed significantly.

My direct dealings with MR were fine. When I ordered an item, it shipped out quickly - when I had a problem, they really worked to solve it. But I also know people who were disappointed in the customer service they got from them. I suppose you'll always find conflicting accounts.

So the one piece of advice I have would be to make sure whoever you order it from actually HAS the product in stock.

BTW, I have the Kermit and it is really nice. For something that is mass-produced, the quality is very high. I'm still trying to figure out how they got machine stitching to look so hand done!

I will look into it further, with the favourable e/r at the moment I would probably be just as well ordering direct from MR.

I was such a big fan of the muppets when I was younger, will get the lot of them.
