MR fett helmet visor question

ok i dont have any pics but i got my fett lid in today, not overly impressed to be honest. it looks fine from a distance.

anyway im going to get rid of the visor to sort the taper problem.

i notice the visor is held a few mm back away from the front of the face, is this supposed to be like that? theres kind of a step in place.

i dont seem to recall the screen helmet lense being back that far.

anyone got some pics of the film used helmet? or do you know?

oh i forgot to say the MR lense is rubbish, there are more waves in it than a mexican soccer crowd.........

In answer to your question no it isn't supposed to sit on a ridge like that, it should sit flush with the inside of the helmet, although the screen helmet had a few gaps here and there I believe.

yeah i read that last night.

it just keeps getting better, the supplied visor is 2 flimsy ass visors stuck together! wacko:sick :confused

along with the 40 screws holding it in and then washed down with a hansome dose of taper it has to be one of the biggest clustrf*cks ever to have left the master replicas establishment.

also chris informs us if you handle the silver paint it turns the colour of lead..............nice!
