Just a quick show-off of the wife and myself's Ghostbusters gear.

Mrs. Toon's Suit - Her's is a Rothco, as I'm sure you can tell from the pictures. Her suit was bought from eBay before I really got myself schooled as to what type of suit is better than others, and most feel the Rothco leans to much towards yellow. But, she loves it and she doesn't want me to replace it. She loves how it feels, how nice and light it is so we are keeping it.

My Suit - Mine is a Nomex suit that I picked up from eBay for the whopping total price of $15 bucks. It has a few stains on the back and a small tear on the front, but what good Ghostbuster's suit wouldn't have stains and rips?

The packs, built for us by an RPFer. The wife's is GB-1 style, and mine is GB-2 style. (I originally wanted a GB-1 style too, but it's kinda cool to have one of each.)

I got to get my self one of those costumes... Great work on the costumes and care for details. You both look awsome! :thumbsup

Thanks for all the kind words and compliments, everybody.

I'd also like to point out The Mrs.'s ghost puppet. She is a fantastic puppeteer and makes her own puppets.

This is Vapor, specifically made to be our "mascot" when we go out and about in our gear. It really adds a unique edge to our appearances as we've actually "caught a ghost". You can check out her work over at her blog: http://http://puppatoons.wordpress.com/

Oh, and here's some fun shots we did with the Stay Puft marshmallow man bank, just holding him strategically in the foreground. This was at a Toys for Tots event this past December. We didn't get the focus quite right in most of these shot, but it was hilarious setting them up in camera. Remember, no photoshop in any of these pictures!

There's something strange on the horizon!

"What did you do, Liz?!"

OK, so can't we go anywhere without the big marshmallow guy showing up?

I try and take him out but my proton beam wasn't working.

I finally knocked him down to size the old fashioned way... with the Vader's fists!

And here we are with our marshmallow pal, actual size!

Those Stay Puft pics had me fooled for a sec there. I was thinking wow!! I wish I would have been there. Great uniforms by the way.

Looking good, the rothco suits aren't really any worse than any others, the color off the shelf is off, and the chest pockets are a little low, but other options are missing pockets or ungodly stuffy. With a little time you can get them to look good. I'd post mine but i don't want to hijack

Man, I've always wanted a proton pack and GB suit...maybe it's time to look into it again :) Great pics!!!
