Re: <<< MPP >>> anyone??? _ NEW PICS - AUGUST 21st

Good to hear you're going to make it accurate.

I say replicate it as accurately as possible, no "tells."

Just stamp it 2017 where the clamp goes, which will be hidden, and there is no need for anyone to worry about being scammed.

I don't know if you put any "tells" in the Graflex replica.

Re: <<< MPP >>> anyone??? _ NEW PICS - AUGUST 21st

Even then I would leave it off just in case someone planned on using it for a Boba Fett blaster. My real ones have serial numbers though, either under the shroud or where the grips would go.

Re: <<< MPP >>> anyone??? _ NEW PICS - AUGUST 21st

Some kinda bogus serial # tell would be a good idea. REMPP2017 or something like that.

Please don't put any additional stampings/engravings of any kind on the flash tube if at all possible. One of the two MPP's Ive ordered is going to be put into my found parts Boba Fett ESB blaster build, and it would absolutely ruin it for my purposes if there was this large ugly engraving on the end.

If you feel you must put one of these on the tube please please please make it a subtle fake serial number such as "1138" or something in the same style font, size and location as to what an original serial number would be right above the button strip :(

You can actually do stamping tells in 2 spots and get away with it... even with the purists. The first as mentioned under the shroud, the second and more obvious one would be along the flash tube itself where the military stamping is on some tubes:

Would it be possible to have a Darth Sidious chrome finish supplied as an option on this product? Great looking product.

I wonder if this was the cause for the grips being as they are on Skywalker and Vader flashgun sabers, when first dressed for Star Wars. I used to be in thought at them that grips would naturally be placed like the ribbed Luke ROTJ or notched like the frag of the grenade grip.
