I know some have a red S and some don't. On the real ESB/ROTJ prop all three letters are black.

I was thinking it may be best to use red/blue... then people can just apply a bit of black to a rag and wipe over the letters to fill them in with black if they prefer. :thumbsup

Seeing as they're black on the original prop, who wouldn't prefer them black? :) (Except we don't know the color on the ANH versions of course.)

Not black... most likely no colour as I believe the stamping only came as red or no colour...

Mine has red and black, but theyre pretty worn.

Ohh, I didn't know that's what an unpainted S looks like. Thanks! Darn, so there's obviously a difference in the thickness of the letter stamping too. The red S is a thicker text so there's surface area inside to hold paint. The real prop seems to match the thin unpainted S, both ESB and ANH.

Sorry, but with the size of this run I don't want to be separating pre-drilled holes, letter coloring, or B port sizes. All the MPPs will be the same with exception of the clamp side bars.

Then don´t drill them.

A hole can be drilled after receipt, but once it´s there at delivery those of us that don´t want them (cause they want a MPP) are ****ed.

I´m slighly pissed atm.

Drill drill drill! People buying these want lightsabers and how many have access to a drill press to really do it right? I've got 3 RE Graflex replicas, and while the fact that it can be used as a functional flash is quite cool, I doubt that I will ever take a single photograph with them. That being said, I love love LOVE the spring-loaded bulb contact. The flash functionality, to me, is some extra mojo, but not the major selling point. Plus having the holes drilled for the d-ring will function as a tell, making it a bit harder for scumbag sellers to pass them off as real.
