I am going to answer even though I'm not involved in production, just some advice from the graflex run.
Roman is making a product that is externally a faithful representation of an MPP flash. He makes no guarantee to the fit and function with other makers products that have been offered. It is best to wait until the actual product has been delivered to make a decision on compatibility.

Chris do you have pictures of your own MPP?
For the clamp, it will mainly depend on this, as there are 2 clamp opening width to my knowledge, I personally owned the two types.
Narrow is narrower than bubble, needing to groove them, wide is wider than a bubble strip or very close.

Patrice, thank you. I've already address several details with my shop, including the spacing between the clamp arms.
If you are going to post in here I do not want you laying claims to my MPP the way you made claims with my Mk1.

Hey Roman send me a PM or email if want pics of my vintage MPP for comparison. This is the person who asked your advice on the purchase a few months back and bought your vintage parts all together. Can't wait to get my replica in hand to make a more accurate ANH than current replica.

You may want to seek out a Larbel MPP replica. Those were made with small B ports. Who knows, some might show up in the Junkyard after people receive their new Roman's MPP's in the future.
