How would this compare to a Korbanth MPP 2.0? And what's different from an actual flash?

The Korbanth MPP 2.0 is like the Graflex 2.0 in that it too resembles the MPP, but it is designed with electronics and dueling in mind. It's parts and design favor that first, and accuracy second. It's "based on" the MPP, but makes concessions in the design to better work for electronics. This is what Korbanth himself says.

Roman is making an actual replica, emulating the original MPP as much as possible. With his Graflex it even worked as the original flash did-- but he's specifying in the case of the MPP, it can't be used as a camera flash.
