more vac table questions: gast 1023?

So I'm going to pick up a gast 1023 pump tomorrow. one of these:

http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/4F742

I'm paying a TINY fraction of the grainger price. I'm pretty sure that should be good for a 24" x 24" table, but figured there are a few hours left to get more skilled opinions.

I know that -26 Hg should be plenty. Now I just need to figure out what sort of tank to get to go along with it. Any suggestions there?

And speaking of... if the sale works out well, the place I'm getting it from says they have a bunch of them and they are $100 each. If all goes well I'll check back in... I could probably pick up a couple more for people that might need 'em.

That thing looks awesome! I bet it'd suck a golfball through a garden hose:lol

I'd be up on one if they turn out to be what you are thinking.:cool

mission accomplished! picked up the pump today. they are bigger / heavier than i had imagined.

now i just have to decide whether or not to go get more ;)

Go to your hardware store and get a portable air tank (10-20 gal). It works great as a first and second stage!:love

i've been seeing comments about 30 - 40 gallon hot water heaters. ya' think a 20 gal air tank would be enough?

the only forming experience i've had so far is a shop vac, and that's been working out fine, so i suppose any sort of tank will be better.
