Hello, everyone! This is my first post on the forum, sorry if this is misplaced. I'm making a costume for the release of Monster Hunter World, and there is one prop that is giving me trouble. The Scout Fly Flask is either a flush mounted single light cage or a pendant light cage fixture mounted to the hip, as displayed by the picture below (screen shot provided by Arrekz gaming). I'm struggling on finding a cage that has the right number of rings, as most I've seen so far only have 2 or 3 rings, and the flask has 5 rings. I also want them to be made out of plastic so it's as light as possible. Does anyone know of any obscure lighting website that would provide these, or the specific names of those rings that make up the cages to help refine my search? The searches I've made have revealed no results.
Alternatively, I could Frankenstein two different cages together easily if they were made of plastic, but all the cages I've found that match the picture are made of aluminium. I've never worked with it before, but would Aluminium be A) light enough to wear on the cosplay and B) easy to cut with a hacksaw and solder together with a standard soldering iron? I don't mind working for my meal here, I just don't have many tools at my disposal.
Lastly, there is a smaller structure on the inside that kind of reminds me of of an aquarium filter feed tube. Does anyone know the terminology for that part, or what else it might be? After these two components, I'm on easy street. Thanks for the help!
