This is a biggie. Its about 36 inches long. I really couldnt see the attraction in the design at first , but over time it has grown on me. Its a nice kit to build , a few fit issues , but on the whole its good. The interior detail is excellent but cries out to be lit really.

Excellent work indeed, Gunpowder.
I've seen this kit and it is a monster - a friend of mine is building it and wants to install some kind of illumination.
I must pick this up myself at some stage.

Did you leave out the glass in the front windows? I was thinking about leaving it out as it's a bit distorted.
Excellent job sanding the seam around the window panel - bet you had fun with that ;-)

The windows are in there. Mine were really clear

I've got that very same U Boat kit - still sitting in the box along with a 1:72 Gato!
Never actually compared it to the Seaview though, they're both really big.
