Just read this thread. Sorry to hear about your home Eagle-1, but glad you & wife O.K. having been dead center. New Orleans was lucky it went west of us. Actual maximum sustained wind here was 120 mph. Fortunate, the city did not get another Katrina.

Man, I'm so sorry to hear this.
Hope you guys get back on your feet soon. Glad everyone is okay.

Hey Mr. edge! Yes sir, we didn't get croaked. Didn't have much time to be "scared". "Afraid" I wasn't going to keep up with the water pouring in is more like it.

Yes sir Mr. Searun... It was probably the worst I've ever seen and been through multerous of 'em. Or would that be numertous? A bunch, anyhow. This one tore up things that wasn't ever touched in others.

I hope we do too Mr. Axlotl. Yes sir, we're getting a little better a little bit at a time.

Sorry to hear about the damage, but at least you guys are ok

When the same storm finally hit up here in PA it caused something like 11 different tornadoes in the area. We spent lots of time in the basement, but luckily the closest one came was about a mile away. Every tree in it's path was down as well as lots of roofs torn off

of course the basement wasn't always the best place for some as one person drowned when they got trapped in the basement by rapidly rising waters

in one of the other areas in our county a lady was killed by a falling tree. Your wife sure got lucky

Thank you Mr. Analyzer! Yes sir, All safe and that's the best part. Damage is bad, but should eventually be manageable.

Yes sir, it was a good 'un, that's for sure. One for the books and will be the "one" others will be compared to for quite some time. Hopefully. I wouldn't want one worse.

My missus did get lucky and it was close, that's a fact. That thing hit her in the top of the shoulder. We weren't too worried about the flooding, although where I live down here in south Louisiana, that can be a problem for many. Our water all came through the roof slowly leaving and the tree holes poked in it.

Slowly getting things together though. Pulled down the remainder of the shed that got destroyed and replaced one of the three windows that got blown out, so moving right along as they say.

Thank you fellas for the kindness.

OR, haven't gotten into that right knee cap with it yet. I would then be angry. I don't know why I would, but I would.

Looking forward to whatever you come up with for the rest

I actually have started mine this past week. Drilling holes for lighting currently
I am using the replacement bridge from Shapeways and the Paragraphix photoetch set, for the grilles and landing bays mainly

Not sure if I will go to town like you have, but it has been pretty inspirational following along

Boy you BETTER jump in! I don't mind you jumping in right here, but if you make your own thread, let me know! You think I got snardly comments in my OWN thread, just wait. ;)
I would say go to town, of course, and ask ANY question you want... Another, of course. I'm the perfect example of, "If I can do it". Ain't nothin' to what you've seen that you can't do. You sir, are a real modeler! I'm a waiter at Denny's.

Happy New Year everybody! I hope we'un's all has a good 'un. Finger crossed... partially to stop the bleeding from an X-Acto cut, BUT crossed. None the less.
Don't worry! All bleeding eventually stops!

Take care, and hope your 2022 is much funner than 2021

*SIGH*

SURPRISE!!!! Look who's ba....

back?

Exactly what is going on in here? I leave for just a couple days and come back to THIS??? Which one of y'all left that over there and what in the world is that smell??? Let's open a window and air this thread out just a little. Do a better job of the clean up in this joint fellas, jeez, and how did footprints get on the ceiling??? Man, I hope that's coffee.

Anyway, how 'bout just a little update on the ol' Gal we been building, hmm?

I fenagled a little time over the past couple days and did a little more whittlin' on this thing. Once I found where I had secured it from all the happenings during the inclement weather, it doesn't seem to have suffered any dings, so picking up about where I left off, I was able to add this stuff.

Now, of course, I had it all lined up and fairly straightened out, but bumped it JUST before I clicked "go" on the camera, so here's what y'all got. I still haven't stick any of this down, so no matter what I do, it always gets jostled before I get to show it to y'all and I apologize. I believe y'all can see what's been did though, so let me know what y'all think?
