Hello,
I do not know very well or put this post, so I put it here.

Do you know the website MK2Work Shop | Accurate Prop Replica?

There is very beautiful object and I am interested in a topgun helmet. There is little opinion on this website and I wanted to have if people had already buy on it?
Is this a reliable seller?

Thank you for your help

I wouldn't trust a site that uses Comic Sans...I kid, I kid...

I'm my opinion, when I'm not sure about a site i always contact them first. If they are quick to reply and seem nice i feel a lot better about it. In collecting prop replica stuff most of the time it's just some guy/artist building this stuff in their garage. Also, use PayPal when your not sure too. It adds another layer of protection.

I'm about to receive helmets from two different vendors. A Maverick from one painter in the states, and another (Goose) from Indonesia (MK2) I will post up a thread to go over both. And I will post here and anywhere this is an interest in these helmets. So far, the ebay reviews of the MK2 helmets have been stellar. I could be in for a cheap treat.

Stay tuned.

I don't know, but the eyes are wrong and they are too far up on the visor shield.

The color is off too, but it's hard to tell with a 34 year old screen shot.

There's a review of their helmet. Maverick Looks good. It could only get better over time they make changes.

The short answer with these is...no they are not screen accurate. But they did go to a lot of trouble to make a good replica of the Helmet. They have to be manufacturing their own shells and visor lenses at the very least but I suspect they are manufacturing everything about that helmet and they’ve done a good job with it. Things to take note of are the fact that the visor lense is not cut accurately to fit an mbu-12p / mbu-14p mask. It looks like an 5p cut. The color of the maverick helmet in their site is wrong but it looked closer in that video. The other think that irks me is the liner. The helmet should have a sewn on padded leather edge roll around the rim of the shell. It looks like they put some rubber edge guard on there with some type of padded velvet motorcycle helmet liner? Eh all in all it’s a great helmet for cosplay or just to have if your a fan but if you really want an accurate show piece you’d have to go a different route.

Isn’t the MK2 Work Shop, RPF member Markpoon?
it’s most of his items from our project runs section, on the MK2 website.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Several of the items (specifically the BTTF pizzas and the Roger Rabbit dum dum gun) are for sure his. I hope it's his site...otherwise I wouldn't trust anything from that place.
