ok guys so heres another update , for starters ive taken some closer pics of my finished parts as requested by a few peoples here :) , and then ive finished my shoulder and started the other one now aswell as starting my elbows aswell .


now i did a few paint testers and figuered im realy not keen on the red but i thing the gold is spot on hehe but dnt mind the black bits as they was just mess around ideas lol
..
also ive cut the jaw of on my helmet and am going to start with the mechanics soon as i find out what i acctually need to articulate it the same as project earths mk6 helmet , im also debating on build omarbou's mk7 helmet to make it accurate but not sure as my helmet is pretty much finished lol but its a defo after halloween is passed so now less rambling from me and heres some piks for yas :) :)


ohh and ps any help with the face plate movement ie the parts id need including the parts to articulate the jaw aswell would be greatly greatly appreciated

so guys im starting the biceps now an also gunna get the other shoulder done to so that will be both arms done aswell :) nearing to an end on the pep side thank god lol im also starting another thread in the next week hopefully for my patriot build :p

so i plan on using thes hinges for my arms and legs and maybe the knee to thigh joint aswel what you think /?

I think those joints look great! I think the two-point hinge might work a little bit better for articulation :)

yeh i was gunna suggest the same thing buddy but the princables there lol oh any other suggestions and crits are more then welcomed buddy :)

okay guys another update hopefully i can keep em coming this week and next week :) ive resined the thighs on the outside :p and fiberglassed the shins :) aww yehh and hes a pik off me wearing them as a tester so ther not looking the best at the moment but hey its a work in progress and my first proper build lol hope you enjoy

so quick update again lol the thighs are dry and going to do another coat of resin on them and also guna resin as many parts as i can , also gunna finish peping the arms an gunna start the cod as well so that will be the whole bottom half done then :)

ok so because im a lil bord lol i thought id do some brain teasing now we all no how hard the back of the mk 7 is i mean ive built it once allready and thought wow and when i resined it it was even harder so when i come to fiberglassing it how could i do it , in all honesty the hardest part is the shoulder pods rocket compartment under the flaps any help ?

update timeeeee lol lower torso has been made so on to resin and fiberglass :p hope to have it done by the weekend enjoy !!! ohh by the way its my gf holding the cod so no the pink jammies aint mine lmao !! :D

also did you tried them .. ? it seems a bit small ?

ohhhh crud lol took the pic the wrong way round haha they are the right ways around just placed them wrong in this pic haha thats rushing around for you ( my excuse im tired ha ) and nah there the right size buddy its just because the thigghs are stacked on top of the shins lol not conected with hinges yet , im 5'5" buddy and yes ive tried them on lol was fun quite comfortable too :p ohh btw ive decided im going to redo my helmet and use yours pal :)

just wanted to make sure !!
alot of people make great suit but they make the error (like i did)
to not try them before and it doesnt fit :S
cant wait to see more progress buddy !
