OK AN IMPORTANT AND POSSIBLE BIG UPDATE!!
I got another email from Mitchell Laine asking for his $46 Sports Almanac back or he will get a lawyer HAHAHAHAHAH! what balls!!
Here is his message:
"If you say so. As far as im aware I was waiting for return addresses to send items back but never got return addresses, im more than happy to return items as im trying to get my life sorted.
As for the almanac, you can check as many threads as you like but it was bought legitemately. You can say what you like about me but you are doing the same thing as I was doing. So you can send what you promised and ask for the almanac back or I will get in contact with lawyers on this end and youll be hearing from them"
So I responded with the following message:
"You are right, me keeping the items is technically doing the same thing. It doesn't feel good to be ripped off does it? That is how every person you stole from feels... And your item was a $46 item, not hundreds like some of the other members items were worth.
So I tell you what,
You get a lawyer and I will speak with them. We can make a deal... I would love to give you the book back. You have a lawyer get in touch and I will make a deal to give you the book in exchange for confirmation of all the items returned to their rightful owners. I will even give you the Jack doll. So, let me get all the return addresses from the people you stole from, and I will forward them to you. Once I hear back from all of them, and all the items are accounted for, I will give you both the book and figure. Does this sound fair? If you need to get a lawyer to confirm this agreement, I will gladly speak with them. Let me know. If you really are looking to sort your life out, this would be the perfect start. We all make mistakes, and sometimes just admitting you were wrong, and just rectifying the situation is a step in the right direction. Yes, you cannot take back the past, but you can do all you can to try and salvage your reputation. Perhaps making good on the returns will allow you to one day return to the prop community and people will accept you again."
So we will see his response to this reply.
If he agrees, I will gather up a list of the items and people scammed. This might be a chance to actually get everything returned. We will see if he is serious about changing himself or if these are just more lies...
