One thing Ive never liked about working with urethane is that some parts just dont need to feel like a light plastic. You can buy commercial grade mineral resin from vendors such as Smooth-On, but its pricy and not really feasible for large projects on hobbyists budgets. Ive made my own and had better than expected results. If this is old news and is just new to me, then I shall go no further. But if you want to know the process, please let me know and I will post it on this thread.

I think I might speak for a lot of us when I say that if you have a technique to share, just post it. If it is new, awesome contribution. If it is old, you might well explain it in such a way as was not understandable to some people in previous tutorials. If it is a better way of doing it, awesome. If it is a worse way of doing it, so many helpful people can improve upon the process. So nothing to lose.
