Millenium Falcon Lego

We got my son a new Millenium Falcon Lego for Christmas....this thing is huge!!...I must have spent 25 Hours plus and it is still not finished!!..it does look great and has loads of detail...I have glued most of the bits as it would never stay together otherwise..it weighs a ton!!..sorry it's on a Thomas table as this is a great size/shape for working on ( I am sure it would look great converted into a landing platform!)

Very cool! My kids are still a little small for Legos but I have every intention of making them love them like I did as a kid.

Very cool. Is that the new 30" version? How old is your kid? My son is 7, and the beiggest set he has done on his own is the Star Destroyer.

that thing is huge!

how did you go about gluing it?

that always made sense to me to glue the bigger LEGO kits together, but i thought i heard that the glue melts the plastic too much?

any tips or links on the best way to glue Lego's would be much appreciated!

I'm a proud owner of the MR falcon myself but I must say thing looks VERY cool. And 25 hours of fun with your kid ==> priceless :thumbsup

These new Star Wars legos are just gorgeous! To think how much we used to improvise some 20-25 years ago with legos to "play" Star Wars just makes me laugh at how floored we would have been to have had even one of these kits back then....just thinking of how jealous my friends would have been is enough for a chuckle.:lol
