Midnight Run 2 being planned! Spoilerish

I don't know about you guys, but I loved this movie WAAAAAY Back when. Deniro and Grodin were hilarious. Well they plan on making a sequel after all these years with Deniro again and the story is supposed to be about Grodins son goes missing and Grodin hires Jack to find him.
I can't wait!

I, too, loved the original. I saw it in the theaters, countless times on VHS and later on DVD. Perfectly paced and acted. Wonderful story. The scene where he goes to his ex's home and meets his daughter still can make me cry.

But I don't think they can capture the same magic. I don't think a sequel can be done at this point.

I'm surprised they have not done a re-boot and put in the flavors of the month as the leads. :unsure
