Men in Black J2 Pistol Stand

I've been wanting to make some sort of stand for this for a while, and was thinking of different ways.

Does anyone have any ideas?

You could make a stand to sit on top of a table with a vertical piece that is the size of the magazine (assuming the magazine is removable from the prop) and then place the prop on the stand sliding the vertical piece into the mag well thus displaying the prop sitting upright on any horizontal surface such as a table or shelf.

Yeah, I was thinking about cutting some acrylic and gluing it together to hold it up. Something simple and effective.

Ha, thanks! Yeah, I actually listed it in the Junkyard a while back, but no one wanted it. I ended up deciding to keep it though, so I was glad it didn't sell at the time. Pretty hard to find ones that are metal plated now days.

were did you guys get them from? I've only managed to get my hands on icons noisy cricket and sideshows neuralyzer. Would love any more info or leads on how to add more MIB items to my collection

Well, unfortunately no one I know of makes replicas. Rick did a run of them a few years ago, but those are long gone. Master Replicas had an ad with a small picture of it in their upcoming products, but never made it.

I didn't know SideShow made a Neuralizer...? Any pics or info?

I know there are one or two other icon guns out there but there rather rare as they never got made and was just thr protypes.

But you've got a very nice Gun indeed. Make sure you post pics when you work out a display for it :cool

I'm not sure if that clip is removable, but if so, I think this is a great option

Unfortunately the clip isn't able to be removed. I think the gun was meant to house a 9 Volt battery. But there wouldn't be nearly enough room for that inside the handle.

Pretty cool though.

Any progress on this? Are any of the custom display-makers willing to make a display for the J2?
