Men in Black International Props (MIB 4)

Speaking of which, Hamilton has put out a new ad for their Hamilton Ventura watches in Men in Black International. I've also been seeing the MIB ads at watch stores in various shopping malls. Pretty cool. Reminds me of the original MIB release when they were really promoting the MIB sunglasses and watches.

Notice the "* Featured in Men in Black I (1997), III (2012) & IV (2019). Worn by Agent J, K & M, played by Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones & Tessa Thompson. " annotation at the bottom. I like it.

Spotted this on Instagram. Looks like it was a handout for Japanese moviegoers. I wonder if it could be modded? There's a few on eBay under $20.

Looks like Rubies is making MIB costumes. While the costumes are the generic cheap stuff, the Neuralyzer looks does pretty good.
And the Agent Gun peaks my interest, I hope it's a decent size and not kids sized.

Edit: Found the Agent Gun, its going to be inflatable :( I sure hope the Neuralyzer looks as good as it does in the pictures.

I happened to catch “...International” on STARZ earlier. Fun. Not great, but fun. Felt more like a TV pilot than the reboot of a major (?) film franchise.

But, like all of the previous MIB movies, the neuralyzer caught my attention. This new one seemed particularly industrial, with the knurling, and the set screws.

Any good screen grabs or photos of the hero prop?

Found a short behind-the-scenes clip about the props. It gave a pretty great look at the neuralyzer. From the looks of it, there were a handful of hero props that sprung open AND flashed, along with a few more that were machined (cast?) into the open position and flashed. It looks like there was even one flashy thing with levels and graphics that would’ve likely been replaced with CGI analytics.

Pret-ay cool.

Im mixed on the props, I love the original MIB props, all of them were pretty damn cool, MIB2 big guns were pretty horrible, the double barrel pistol wasnt bad along with the cricket rifle, the big guns and second deatomizer was pretty much butt ugly. I thought the MIB3 guns were very classy looking along with the time jump device. I really like the guns in that movie. MIB international props were just idiotic. The neuralizer was the "best" but not great, the guns were just too big for the sake of trying to out do the big MIB2 guns which were already way too big and just had way too much crap hanging off them. When you start seeing hubcaps as gun parts it just fails.

Yeah, they’re not as iconic, but they have their charms. If I remember right, on MIB3, the prop makers were going for an iPhone app sort of approach. Considering the plot of “...International” focused on the Eiffel Tower, it sort of makes sense the rest of props would be industrial and almost Steam Punk-ish.

As someone who wishes Sony would break down and let Noah Hawley do an eight-episode MIB series on FX, I’m totally okay with changes to the franchise, I just want them to make narrative and thematic sense.
