I purchased your icons pulse rifle on 06-09-09
you said it would be shipped in two days.

I wrote you yesterday to inquire about shipping info and you have not replied.:thumbsdown

I see that you have been online 4 times since then and still havent replied.
What gives?I am starting to feel very uneasy about this transaction.

Either send me the prop shipping info or return my cash.

NOWHERE ON MY PROFILE DOES IT SAY ATM OR FREE CASH.

Yeah, but let's be fair. If someone has your cash, they say something is shipped, you haven't gotten it when promised, then you notice that they have been online, hence, getting your messages and not responding? I'd be worried too.

Hey, not defending delinquency - I am just saying not to get too scared. He's a good friend of mine and extremely trustworthy. I will drop him a line to peep in here.

8 days after payment might be a little early to panic, agreed he should answer messages though.

Thanks for the insite, from everyone.
I am just pretty gun shy after getting burned by GQCustoms.

Hopefully JP05 will let me know how things are progressing.

Hey Fulcrum,
Glad you took my advice and posted this. You get the attention of members here that have dealt with him.

If Got Maul says he's good, then he's good.

Brad

This is just in regards to tracking his online status and jumping to conclutions...

One must rationalize that a forum or what not stating that they are online doesn't necessarily mean reading the PMs... There are many times I pop online and only have a few minutes so I might read or reply to a thread or post that is just rambling nonsense but don't answer business related PMs, PMs that most likely require looking at paperwork, paperwork and stuff I might have at home vs the shop or vice versa... There are even times I read the forums on my phone while out and about, and I almost never reply to PMs on a phone.... And last but not least I use Firefox to browse and I have a session manager installed, every time I run Firefox it logs me into this forum automatically it doesn't mean I'm actually here, same with auto refresh software that I have been known to use...

In short an online status on a forum or what ever is not instantly a sign of ignoring or avoiding...

Thats all, 8 days including a weekend isn't that long and I hope you get answers but I wouldn't sweat it too much just yet...

It eases my mind that alot of people help to vouch for a guy. Thanks

I wouild edit my first post so it dosnt sound too hard on ones character, but I dont believe in that.If something has been said then leave it.
When JP05 comes through then I will be another to vouch for him.

I think pitching a fit in here vs. straight on contact is a bit over the top considering the time we're talking about here. Cool down a little bit and blow out the torches and put away the pitch forks it'll be fine. If he hasn't responded to your emails or contacts please let me know we'll get you squared away.

Wow....thanks for all the support.

Fulcrum, I just responded to your PM.

I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Just been busy with work (finals week....essays, essays and essays). Online? Yeah I would hardly call it that. Sometimes my computer is left on and whatever website is on, is on. If I logged in and I missed your PM, I am sorry. I do not always notice them being up there, as I get so few.

Fulcrum...as in the PM..when I get home I will send you the tracking.

Contact was established and then broken.

Actually I have done alot of buisness with people here and in real life.
When a date is set between two parties then that date should be firm.
If something arises that will cause delays then an update is required from the party with the delay. That is just commond courtsey.
After all your word is all you have to go on and that is only as good as your last deal/sell/trade.

Further update: Steve has made contact and all seems good in my corner of the prop collecting world.
Thanks Steve

Oh yeah...........and no where in my profile does it say rip off artist either. So there ! :love :rolleyes

Look friend...this was in noway an attack to get anything started or to start name calling. It was suggested to me to start this thread to bring attention to the situation.
But lets turn the table and let you set where I am.A deal being agreed upon then total loss of contact.
What would you think or do?

Steve (JP05) is one of the best. He can be a bit slow on shipping (not trying to make any excuses) but he will come through without a doubt. He is one of the most honest guys in this hobby.

I couldn't agree with you more. I believe in this so much that I'm sure I have pissed off a few folks, and others have made it on my bad dealer list. When I make a deal, my end of the transaction is done within 48 hours (though even that is an too long for me). If for ANY reason it takes longer than that I immediately contact the person I'm in transaction with. If someone tells me my item will be here Monday, it damned well better be here on Monday. If not, I expect a PM or e-mail explaining the delay. If Wednesday comes around and still no package, you will recieve a nasty message from me, not just because my package hasn't arrived but mostly because I haven't heard from you. I shouldn't have to remind you about your end of the transaction.
So does this make me a jerk?
Who cares?
Don't like it, don't deal with me. But if you do, I will hold you to the same honorable transaction practices I adhere to. Stuff happens. Life intervenes. I get it. But a little communication goes a LOOOOOONG way with me. :)

JP05 / Steve is a great guy. I've known him for as long as I've been into props and is as stand-up as they come.

Everyone gets busy -- he may have just been taking a nap under his new fedora.

We have all seen quite a few "stand up" guys here go bad...It sucks, but it does happen... I agree that after only 8 days, the gun has been jumped, but he was just being cautious

Sarcasm. Pure sarcasm. No need to get riled up.
