This is a simple way to create the Med Pack using simple and cheap materials...

Special thanks to shagger999uk for providing outline sketches for the leathers as per below and all other leather holders I used in my builts. Print it as per ORIGINAL SIZE and NOT Fit to page...

Other patterns on this link... http://www.therpf.com/f71/leather-belt-pouches-rough-templates-183516/

Next step is to use the above as a pattern and cut a leather in one straight length around 14.5cm then glue a foam with 3mm thickness with the pre cut cross sign "+" and backed with a cardboard for the front cover...

Apply large amount of glue on the foam pattern and cardboard the press to form the "+" symbol. Put weight on top of the "+" symbol to assure good form and let dry overnight...

Cut another leather with same dimensions to that of the top cover that will serve as the bottom cover to cover the foam.
Then have the bottom cover glued then sewn to the top cover and have the magnetic lock installed.
Last step would be to glue the back support and belt loop to the top and bottom cover assembly as per below.

Med pack can then be closed by the magnetic bottom by bending the bottom and top part of the leathers to have the final form.

That's pretty damn good! You've done a great job. I like to see how it's made threads. :thumbsup

Great job! Creative thinking on getting the symbol embossed, turned out very well.

Glue leather on the sides to cover the GI sheet

What's a GI sheet? It looks a lot like galvanized aluminum or steel.
