Maul gloves - help needed

I'm pretty much ready to start my Maul suit. I've managed to source good material for everything but the trousers, got some covertecs and even some Titans that fit me.

Unfortunately, I'm massively stuck as to what's going on with the gloves. Some pictures don't even look like there is a seam on the fingertips. I've looked at pictures of tour suits and Gino's Maul and still can't work out what's happening with the middle and ring fingers. :confused

Can anyone help?

I've also heard that the gloves are an off-the-shelf pair with a custom sewn cuff, which makes sense with the pics I've seen so I was wondering if the name of the glove maker is known in the community.

I won't leave it up for too long since it eats up a good amount of my space, but here are shots of the Maul display gloves at Hollywood Studios in Orlando.

Thanks guys, lambotour never seen that pic of the left hand before, they are now saved. :)

Brad, thanks for posting that thread, saw it before but never noticed that the Rider's Wardrobe gloves don't look bad; sure the grain in the leather is probably too heavy for the hand part but pattern wise not bad at all.

Yeah, the grain is all wrong but I couldn't find anything else close :)

If you find something please shoot me a PM or post it here! :cool

If I find anything of my own accord I'll happily post it but given this quote from GINO I think if I come across anything it'll be out of luck.

I agree about the gloves. The problem is much like the Frank Thomas boots, they have been out of production for a long time. The only pair of gloves I have ever been able to find was XL. I do hope to at some point have them reproduced in size M.

That said there's probably something using the exact same or very close pattern in a different material.

Time to go through TPM and see if I can find a reference for the palm. :)

That's must be a pretty old quote.
Since then, I've come to find out that the maul gloves were definitely custom made and not made from an existing item.
I had mine custom made to match.
There are some decent alternatives that are passable, but nothing out there if you want total screen accuracy.
